Abarbistro has a very inviting and welcoming feel, and we wanted to portray this in the website using the imagery to show the family run restaurant feel with a clean and modern site. The upcoming events section is eyecatching and uses simple clean icons to represent each event. The food and wine menu is cleanly laid out to make it easy to read. There is also the social media and contact section which always appears at the bottom of the page, which is easier for customers to access all the information.
Responsive Website Design Hampshire – abarbistro – abarbistro might have a modern outlook now, but its heritage goes back more than two centuries.
In 1965 it was named the american bar and later became known as the a bar. It is now known as abarbistro, a name which reflects its long history but with a modern, relaxed feel.
Located in white hart road in Old Portsmouth, a short stroll from Gunwharf Quays and two minutes walk from Portsmouth Cathedral, its location is perfect for a lovely lunch, a delightful dinner, or why not treat yourself to the wine tastings at Camber Wines, which is their very own independent wine retailer & wholesaler situated above abarbistro.
We thoroughly enjoy working with the team at abarbistro, and were excited when we started discussions for their new website. We also teamed together with the lovely Emma Trinder who took all the wonderful photographs.
