Sparken Hill Academy
Sparken Hill Academy is a primary academy in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, a BECTA award-winning school recognised for its use of ICT and holder of the Naace 3rd Millennium Learning Award for school-wide embedding of learning technologies.
Our relationship with Sparken Hill Academy began back in 2011 when the school was still Ryton Park Primary School, a brand new build for which we created the original logo and graphics throughout the building. When the school became Sparken Hill Academy in 2014, the original graphics were still looking fantastic, which is a testament to the quality of the work produced.
When the academy reached out to us again, they had actively sought us out based on their experience of the original work. The brief was to introduce new graphics that would sit naturally alongside the existing ones, extending the visual scheme throughout the building without disrupting what was already in place.

Window and reception graphics
The new window graphics were designed with a vibrant colour palette that created a cheerful and engaging atmosphere for children, staff and visitors throughout the building.
Privacy film was used throughout, allowing natural light to continue flowing into the spaces while maintaining privacy from external views. The result was graphics that were bold and colourful from the outside while remaining practical and light-filled from within. Reception graphics completed the scheme, giving the entry area the same energy and visual consistency as the rest of the school.
